A Matter of Shame

It is a matter of great national shame that to this day the victims of the Bhopal gas disaster and those displaced by the Narmada dam have still not received justice.

Last Saturday, I witnessed a peaceful protest for these causes on M.G. Road, Bangalore. Had any photographer decided to take a picture as I was crossing the road, it would have been a fine sight. A software engineer wearing a cap clearly showing his background of India's no.1 institute turning away from the protest.

its really a matter of shame as the victims didn't got justice but the big issue is sardar sarovar project is for developement of country or a matter of politics?? as it is correct the this project is going to benifit the thirsty people of gujrat and rajasthan but is it the way to impliment it?? there should be rehablitation of the people getting affected by this.. and in my merely showing the protest with procession is never be the ideal way.. everyone has to come together to show the exact situation, they need to make things visible to everyone and for that press and media has to play and important role instead of running around only celebrities and politicians.
